Cranberry is known to be beneficial to prevent or treat mild cases of urinary tract infection in women. Now a preliminary clinical trial shows that taking cranberry powder 500 mg three times daily significantly reduces symptoms of BPH (benign prostatic hypertrophy), as well as lowering PSA, after 6 months of treatment.
